Latest News: My debut guitar instrumental album Delay hitting the streaming highway!

Like a British bus, you wait for a long time then two come at the same time, or close by; which has seen my debut guitar instrumental album Delay hitting the streaming highway!

The reason I called it Delay was because I’ve heavily used the delay effect on all of the instruments to a greater or lesser degree.

I have put a lot into this album and it gave me a chance to experiment with different drum beats and mixing different drum kits and taking samples from my own performances on my electronic Alesis Compact Drum Kit 7* and mixing them all together for some interesting variations and styles added to each track.

I also experimented with using the effects and doubling them to the MAX! Creating some strange sounds but more importantly for me is to make my music accessible to you all!

The first track Breeze I picked the guitar strings with different strokes and added the delay effect to wrap around the drum beat.

I have for the first time programmed (but I can play the notes used on the keyboard) synthesizer parts on the reggae/dub composition of Marching, and accompanying the guitar riff on Slipping.

I actually forget I recorded quite a bit of lead guitar and was pleasantly surprised when reviewing my recordings to put into this album of the sweet lead guitar work, which has ended up on Humble, Floating, Bubbling, and Flowing.

Tracks that sound more like techno tunes, but are actually effects on my guitars and bass are Flux, Flexing, and Stomp, with different drum styles that could transcend across the music spectrum including rock and metal.

Anyway, don’t take my word for it! Check it fans @Apple Music

Keep on Rockin’!
