Patchwork Art is a departure from the mainly guitar driven music I’m used to doing.

I ditched the guitar and used synthesizer sounds mostly by programming rather than playing, though I can play keyboards, so it was just down to convenience rather than ability.

By using synthesizer sounds and sound-effects it does give this album a different edge and the songs are about my life experiences and upbringing in London, England.

I changed my vocal style to more of a spoken word style and I didn’t sing while growling, unlike in my other more ‘rock’ themed albums.
